Excellent 41 jhg marked, Gustav Genschow & Co. Hachenburg Germany
No Military Acceptance so this holster was destined for the Commercial Luger market. In my opinion this is the ultimate Holster for 1941 or 1942 Banner Commercials.
The back of the holster is made of an Ersatz pigskin/pebble grain. Which is super unique and rare. There was a huge Leather shortage in Germany 1941. The remainder of the holster is a beautiful high polish leather, making for a unique and super attractive example.
excellent light stitching
excellent tool and magazine pouch
excellent leather, with unique rear ersatz backing plate of the holster
excellent belt loops
excellent pull strap
very good closure strap, and buckle
this is one of the most unique holsters I’ve come across in the last 25 years
