“City of Blades” Part Deux- DLU 1943- Solingen Germany P.08 Luger Holster

Very good DLU 1943, full 4 digit date. Very good leather, very good white stitching. Very good belt loops, very good tool pouch, very good mag pouch. Very good buckle with good closure strap. 
This is is the second example of our Solingen Germany DLU 1943 holster. I enjoy presenting multiple examples for you to compare. I believe authenticity comes from observation. The three letter code DLU represents Ewald LüneschloB of Solingen, Germany.  This maker is one representative of many holster makers commissioned across Germany & surrounding territories. I use a German code book to unlock many secrets. Although Mauser halted Military Luger Production in 1942, holsters continued to be handmade across the country.
