Jan Still’s Rare byf 41 Black Widow Luger

Super Cool and Rare, Good condition byf 41 Black Widow from Jan Still’s estate. I bought this pistol before the Still’s started their website selling to the public. I was really stoked to get it because it’s a super rare gun. It’s the transition between the Eagles 655 and Eagle 135 acceptance inspectors. It bears both acceptance marks on the receiver. They were very limited number of pistol that had both acceptance stamps late summer 1941. The pistol is all matching numbers with a very good bore. It has beautiful type 5 authentic World War II black Bakelite grips. Surprisingly it was in rough shape when it arrived, and had been neglected. I spent a lot of time bringing it back into great shape. The gun itself is Super nice. There is a lot of wear on the grip straps. I believe there was some sort of temporary bluing applied to them, which I removed. Overall, the condition of the gun is good, and it is super rare. It belonged to the iconic Jan Still, Author of many great Luger Books. 7491 no suffix byf 41
