Very good 1940–42 code rear pin Luger P.08 magazine. For pistol serial number 2440 in the “a” block. From my research this would indicate March 1940 production. Very good base with original Mauser factory stampings and serial number. “+” marked to indicate the secondary magazine that would have been stored in the holster.
This was the end of the production. For the rear pin, blued, rolled tin magazines. They were replaced by the extruded type magazines
